Ancient Civilizations
Ancient Civilizations Looking back onto what this world once was, we can only gasp with awe at the amazing accomplishments "primitive" civilizations had cultivated. It is from their masterpieces that we have adopted for our "new world" in hopes to achieve more than the expectations they held. It is hard to imagine that long ago, the human race was already reaching its peak of cultural advancement. However, the untimely demise of most civilizations and cultures has left us with nothing more than the "blueprints" of their tomorrow for which we have used to embrace the today that has reflected a world long lost but forever remembered. The ancient world will forever remain a mystery to us, but the aspect of their cultural advancement has forged a major role in society today. Had it not been for the ancient Egyptian's methods of embalmment, the deceased would be nothing more but decaying corpses among the earth. The Babylonians have taught us about ethnic diversity, which formed society it's self and the Assyrians influenced many of the sculptists of our time due t
How so, is simply in the visual structures they have created. Even then, society has been based on where you stand on the social ladder. As we have learned from their remains, we have seen how this civilization has made our world open to art and to post mortem remain. The ancient world is not at all left behind. They were the first to have separated into tribes due to physical differences, verbal differences and difference in thought. It is more than fascinating as to how their bodies were preserved and have lasted as long as they have. They were the first to build cities, advance from primitive thinking to manifest awareness and the basic curator of ethnic diversity. Among all things, the ancient Egyptian architectural sites are what have kept the world at awe. As stated before, the ancient Egyptians methods of embalmment was the most advanced ritual that we have faced, and continues to remain a mystery, even today. We have seen how they were able to achieve rather beautiful creations made of nothing but dirt and water, which only shows us how nothing, can be taken for granted. Many wonder how it was that these civilizations have formed our world, how they were able to influence time and society and so they cease to understand the progress we have encountered and undergone and so much goes unnoticed. Their method of burial was to "sculpt" the deceased body into a crouching position and allow it to remain in that state, which has influenced the great, as well as not-so great, sculpts of our time to create the beautiful creations they have done today. Even in an urban society, you see the attempts to reach an equally beautiful structure as that of the pyramids. The Egyptians were considered the most advanced civilization in ancient time, which is rightly stated due to the fact that they have accomplished more than most ancient civilization have. From our buildings, to our art and even ourselves, we see how the ancient world has modified the world of today and has engraved its mark by simply exceeding an unnoticed peak.
