             There are many adversities in our society, which proceed to affect the everyday lives of all social beings in this world. One particular subject that I am referring to is feminism. Now you may not be aware of this specific subject and its significance as of yet. However, you will obtain a decisive idea of how feminism plays an immense role in our lives.
             Let us first contemplate what feminism and its theory refers to. Feminism draws attention to women's issues and concerns. Feminism refers to the body of thought on the cause and nature of women's disadvantaged and subordinate position in society, and to efforts to minimize and eliminate that subordination.(Brym,1998,p.206) It focuses on the relations between genders and how both male and female become classified as distinct groups rather than a team united as one. The feminist theory is fairly comparable to this explanation and determinedly claims that the basic structure of society is patriarchal, or male-dominated. Feminism distinguishes sex from gender, which is socially constructed, to which men and women may conform and by which they are usually judged. (Brym,1998,p.503) Following this brief understanding we shall try to develop the political idea in relation to feminism, by reason that the society should become more aware of this subject and its consequences. The purpose for bringing up such issues is to comprehend various questions that may evolve throughout this paper.
             Succeeding this brief explanation, it is relevant to identify what feminism relates to. A feminist is a person who believes in and works for women's rights.(Stearman, 2000, p.60) A feminist may be a male or female of any race or culture, which strongly agree that all women are exceptional and deserve the very best.
