Smoking: The Deadly Habit
In life, we have the ability to make choices. The decisions we make today, affects the outcome of tomorrow. Although some decisions we make lead to positive outcomes, there are some that can lead to negative outcomes. Smoking cigarettes happens to be a negative choice, and has a very negative outcome when long term use comes into play. Though there are countless reports and clearly stated evidence that smoking causes such health problems as cancer, heart attacks, and emphysema. People continue to smoke. But, how is it that something that can kill you, is enjoyed by so many other people. In order to find the answer to this, one must look at a series of areas that are the major contributing factors to the reason people smoke. These areas are: Social, Emotional, Physical, Intellectual, and Spiritual.Would you go into a grocery store and buy an item labeled "Warning Consuming/Using This Product is Considered Dangerous" by the U.S. Surgeon General? Although most of us would probably answer "No," millions make such a purchase every day - a pack of cigarettes. Moreover, they do this despite clear, well-publicized evidence that smoking is linked to cancer, heart attacks, strokes, bronchitis, emphysema, and a host of other serious illnes
3)In conclusion, smoking cigarettes doesn't have one good thing about it, and yet millions of people continually purchase and consume them daily. But what causes this link between parties and smoking? Does the social atmosphere induce a person to light up, or are frequent partygoers regular smokers? Dr. In addition, there is also a direct link between smoking and social events, such as parties. Nicotine acts as a stimulant on the central nervous system; when nicotine is ingested, adrenaline production increases, raising the blood pressure and heart rate. This is happening to more and more buildings and will stay increasing until it ceases. Spiritual people are much more conscious of the possible impact on their physical well-being, particularly survival. These include irritability, frustration, anger, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, increased appetite, headache, stomach cramps, a slowed heart rate, a rise in blood pressure, and most of all, an intense craving for nicotine( 5 pp. Finally, nothing that kills is cool. Second-hand smoke is a combination of mainstream smoke and sidestream smoke. But as I am getting older and the signs of what smoking is doing to me are starting to show, I am realizing that smoking is no longer "cool" or the "in" thing to do. I have tried every different method possible and still my constant craving for a cigarette never seems to cease. Smoking habits, drinking habits, and intellectual powers were all assessed before the study.
