Should I Breast-Feed or Bottle-Feed My Newborn?

Should I Breast-Feed or Bottle-Feed My Newborn? Will you be breast-feeding or bottle-feeding your baby? This is a question every pregnant woman is asked, whether it is before they have the baby, or after they deliver. Not all mothers-to-be read up on this information, which is a disadvantage towards themselves and the infant. This is a very important time in a woman's life, as well as the baby's life, so making the right decision is imperative. Every woman should compare the advantages and disadvantages of both breast-feeding and bottle-feeding, before giving birth to their child. Yes, there are advantages of bottle-feeding, but they just don't compare to the advantages of breast-feeding. Healthy women should breast-feed their babies, rather than bottle-feed. Bottle-feeding does have a few advantages. It is more convenient than breast-feeding. Either parent or caregiver can feed the baby at anytime. Bottle-feeding gives the mother more flexibility to go make errands or go to work with out disrupting the feeding schedule. Woman can also get back to work shortly after birth if they choose to bottle-feed. Finally, women who bottle-feed also do not have to buy bras and other clothes that enable them to nurse a child

When done correctly breast feeding should not cause a lot of pain. Breast milk provides antibodies that fight against infections illnesses, and diseases. Breast milk is the most nutritional feeding source for the lowest cost. When it comes to nutrition, breast milk is the best first food for babies. Breast milk also prevents the baby from diarrhea. 2) It may be easier to loose weight through nursing, by getting rid of extra calories. The baby receives a numerous amount of benefits through breast-feeding. Isn't staying home and breast-feeding, providing a healthy beginning for your child, better than going back to work so early and having to take off work to take your ill child to the doctors? Breast-feeding has health and economic benefits that no formula can provide. The risk of ovarian and breast cancer is lower among those who have breastfed. Breast-feeding is bacteria-free and promotes digestion of the nutrients. Breast-feeding is a source of warmth and comfort, and an easy way to develop a close and loving relationship with their child.
