My first trip to Kart World was when I was twelve years old. I was with my friends and my older brother. I chose to go there because it was my birthday and I had the choice to go wherever I wanted to go. When we got there, there were a lot of people waiting in line. I was very anxious to ride those go-karts. I waited fifteen minutes before I got to ride, but it seemed like an eternity. Everybody was having a great time.
             When I got into my cart the man started telling me the rules such as wear your seat belt, green pedal is gas, red pedal is brake and all that good stuff. The man moved the orange cone, and we were off and running. The adrenaline in my body was pumping. I was getting real competitive and not letting anybody pass me. I was having so much fun, I could not stop smiling. My brother tried to pass me, but I would not allow it. I ended up winning my first race at Kart World. I was so excited I wanted to ride again, so I did. During my second race I started in first again, but this time I got in a wreck because my brother spun me out. I was really mad because if you get in a wreck they kick you out of that race for good. I was mad because it was a waste of five dollars. I got over it and went back inside the game room.
             The game room was kind of big. It had almost every game anyone could think of to play. It had ski ball which is my favorite. I won a hundred tickets playing that game. I played that game forever. I swear this was turning out to be on of the greatest birthdays ever. I was having so much fun. I was doing so good at ski ball that I got a free ride on the go-carts. It must have been my lucky day. The worker there said, "How old are you?" I replied, "I turned twelve today sir." He was saying how I was to young to ride the go-carts, but since it was my birthday he let is slide. I turned my tickets in, and I got a hand held video game. It was
