Effect Divorce has on kids

It is a difficult process for the parents to go through, but what about the children? Divorce and the effects it has on children is not healthy for the children because it can have long-term effects on the child, which can impair the child’s ability in many different ways. Introduction:

Today, children in our society deal with a lot of stressful matters, but there are none more important than family issues.

-Children of divorced parents tend to have higher divorce rates when they later marry than those from intact families.

-Many teens with divorced parents feel that they no longer fit into society's image of the "perfect" family, like the idealized TV clans, the Cosbys. Divorce affects both physical and emotional aspects of the family.

-Children whose parents divorce, compared with children whose parents remain married, have fewer -opportunities to learn positive social skills that facilitate close relationships and strengthen later marital stability. Or an upright person would start hanging around with the drunks all because of their parents divorce.

-Divorce can even trigger violence against the children(such as parental kidnapping)
