Macbeth as a tragic hero

One day, a wealthy businessman with a lovely life meets a strange old woman on a street who says that she'd make him a millionaire if he only bet money on a certain racing horse. Being tempted by what he heard, he soon gets involved in gambling. When he starts losing his money he panics but realizes it is too late to turn back. Soon after, he loses all of his possessions and he regrets listening to the strange woman. This man is referred to as a "Tragic hero" and so is Macbeth in the Shakespeare's tragedy "Macbeth". Macbeth possesses the three major factors to be a tragic hero of a story. First he starts as a famed, wealthy, and honored general and ends up experiencing downfall, second he has a crucial tragic flaw which is a weakness in his character that leads him to disaster, and third he gets persuaded by the circumstances around him, which combine to make him the victim of a flaw rather than his own willingness. Macbeth is an obvious tragic hero of Shakespeare's tragedy "Macbeth". According to Aritotle, a renowned Greek philosopher, a tragic hero most effectively evokes the reader's pity if he suffers a change in fortune from happiness to misery. It is one of Shakespeare's meth

His ambition develops into hatred and takes part in murdering numerous people to become and remain a king. His characters of imprudence, impatience, and ambition prove to be the tragic flaw and result Macbeth to become a tragic hero. There are lot of pressure around him such as Lady Macbeth, the witches, and the apparitions. The person who greatly influences Macbeth to commit the murder is Lady Macbeth. These factors slowly change Macbeth's characters from a man suffering of guilt from murdering a man into a mad killer murdering even women and children without feeling any guilt. Macbeth now holds a position of power, wealth, fortune, honor, and is loved by his king. Lady Macbeth who possesses an evil nature tries to convince her husband into murdering Duncan by keep encouraging Macbeth with her evilness in Act 1. Duncan's trust and favor towards Macbeth is shown in Act 1 when Duncan praises Macbeth and gives him the title of the Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth was an obvious tragic hero of the story. The businessman eventually realized that he himself became a pitiful tragic hero and a victim of a tragic flaw at the end, and so did Macbeth. This high status of Macbeth is the first step to become a tragic hero. Another huge weakness in his character is his burning ambition towards the crown. Macbeth wouldn't have been able to become such an evil tragic hero without the influence of these circumstances surrounding him. This is shown when he struggles of guilt before and after murdering Duncan. He is Duncan's favorite general and a servant.
