Descriptive Essay
Tucked away in the hills of Terra Alta, West Virginia far from any town or any neighbors hidden in a forest lays "Sunshine Daydreams" the most unique place you'll ever experience. Many people that live in West Virginia are not even aware that this magical place even exists. It's a secret place that many people visit but few actually know about its events. When you speak of this place after you have visited it for yourself, others have a hard time believing it. Its very hard for them to relate to the type of things you will share with them about this mysterious place. They think you just making up a wild story with strange events that just to hard to imagine being true. It is very real because I have been there myself and it is very strange. You travel on these curvy roads for hours back in the hills of West Virginia away from civilization into the forest. You finally reach this turn off to the left where you get on a beaten dirt road that's a little rocky and narrow then after a hundred feet or so you reach the only entrance to this dream land there are trees all around. Then was the sound of the people arriving in they're vehicles, people setting up camp. It was in a small "sweet breath" bottle, over a hundred drops was in it, and he wanted two hundred dollars for it. Then I seen a pretty blonde girl carrying a large hemp pouch yelling "x, I got x, ecstasy, triple stacked ecstasy, shrooms I also have magic mushrooms" Then this boy walked up to me and asked did I want to buy a vile of LSD. I felt so at peace, happy, and totally free, this is were I wanted to be, this is how I wanted to feel. He handed me a large "nugget" and it was so sticky, the smell stayed on my fingers for hours. When it got dark the place lit up so beautifully ever tent had its own little contained fire next to it, which they kept going all through the night with wood from the forest. The sound was so strange I can't compare it to any other music that I've ever listened to. The teens wore multi colored shirts, baggy pants, and for jewelry everyone wore hemp necklaces, hemp wrist and ankle bracelets even hemp hats and hemp back packs. Everyone was socializing, laughing and giggling like you've never seen before, so many conversations going on at once thousands of people all over communicating about everything under the sun. When spoke to you they looked you right in the eyes and smiled through the whole conversation, they were really nice, kind-hearted people who seemed like they would do anything for you. Then I noticed that there was hundreds of tents pitched in all shapes, sizes, and colors. How could they be so happy, why did they act this way? There was a big stage were there was this band called the "Snake Oil Medicine Show", they were playing music with all of these different instruments, some I did not even recognize what they were. This was the most unique, exciting "trip"! I have ever been on it was the best ever and yes it was a "Sunshine Daydream"!. I bought it off of him and took a hit in each eye and then a couple in the mouth. It was a different culture, it was all the things you hear about the 70's, even though it was the year 2000 these people was keeping it alive for over thirty years now.
