The Chapel

             On September 1, 2002, my sister, Laurie, had her big wedding day. The day started at nine o'clock in the morning. All of the girls that were in the bridal party came over to my house to get ready as we shoved food down our throats, as we did our hair and makeup in a hurry. The photographer then decided to arrive twenty minutes early. Therefore we had to get moving. After I rearranged my whole dining room for him, we were able to take pictures. We took about fifty pictures inside, and then we went outside and only took about twenty-five. Finally, the limousine arrived. We couldn't leave just yet because we had to wait for the photographer to get out of our house. Meanwhile, all the girls were being attacked by bees because of the gallons of hairspray that we had in our hair. Then the photographer was finished, and we all crammed into the limousine.
             We were off to the church, and Laurie was as nervous as could be. When we got to the church,b we just stood around and waited for the guests to be seated. Then I realized that Laurie was pacing around in a circle, and she looked like she was starting to go crazy. The priest came over and said a prayer with us, and Laurie seemed to calm down again. Then the music started playing, and Laurie began to to get teary-eyed. We calmed her down and then got ready to walk down the aisle. After the whole bridal party got to the front of the church, Laurie and my father started to walk down the aisle. My mother and my other sister started bawling their eyes out like a monsoon, and I could tell that my father was having a hard time. Then my father released Laurie to Chris, her fiancĂ©, and then sat down. Laurie and Chris said their vows and went over everything that plays into a wedding. They were finally husband and wife.
