Born on November 25th, 1951 to Harold and Claire Soucie. He was born in Windsor, Ontario. Ken was the eighth born in a family of eleven children. Ken and his family grew up, just above the poverty level. Ken had to share his room with four other brothers.
The room was very small and had two sets of bunk-beds and one bed in the closet.
Throughout his childhood Ken had it rough. When he turned 16 he decided to move out. He justifies his early leaving as having to do it for the sake of his brothers and sisters.
He figured that with him feeding himself, this would provide more food for his family.
Ken was in grade eleven at WD Lowe technical school, when he was first out of the house. He shared an apartment with a war veteran who was unemployed and living off welfare. Fortunately Kenneth found a decent paying job at a local automotive manufacturing shop, and was able to keep this job throughout his schooling. Two more years of living on the base, and they were ready to marry.
After four years in the military, Kenneth met a young lady named Carol Faught.
Ken used the skills he learned in high school to start his own bullet manufacturing company. This was an attempt to try and control that countries rebel’s from sweeping into villages and killing and taking people hostage for ransom. It was a wedding paid for by the wedding, so there was certain restrictions. In the fall of 1993, Ken was sent to Bosnia-Herzegovina to once again keep the peace.
One year of marriage left Carol pregnant and worried about the fate of her husband.
