Napoleon

Napoleon : Histories Most Influential ManOne of histories most recognizable names is Napoleon. A man of individual greatness, that would eventually make history. The events in Napoleon's life, from his rise to power and fame, to his institutionalizing of the Napoleonic Code, clearly show an example of how one brilliant man can influence and change so many lives. When Napoleon returned from Egypt, he was already starting to be seen as a hero everywhere. Yet, he decided to wait a while before he actually attempted to take direct seizure of power. However, when Abbe Sieyes approached Napoleon with his plan for seizing power, Napoleon could not refuse. The very arrogant Napoleon saw Sieyes as a weak and undeserving man. Napoleon decided to work with Sieyes, under the strict condition that a third member be added to their alliance. Napoleon th

For instance, he established a centralized government and acquired control over the local government. Such as equality of all men before the law, freedom of conscience, freedom of work, and the separation of the Church and State. The finalized Code stood for everything Napoleon had been fighting for, aside from the power he wanted. At the height of his reign, Napoleon established many reforms in France. With Ducos, easily at Napoleon's disposal, he saw that he had the upper hand. From the very start, it was clearly obvious that Napoleon was an example of how one person's actions can be based on individual greatness, and that this would ultimately lead Napoleon to power and fame. He has and forever will be known as one of the most powerful and influential leaders of his time. By instituting the Napoleonic Code, Napoleon had managed to keep his name and accomplishment alive forever. As a result of all his accomplishments, Napoleon had managed to gain the title of one of the single greatest and most influential men in society. Napoleon had realized that laws had to be codified and so he held a council to set down rules of law. Ultimately, Napoleon had agreed to work with Sieyes so that when the time came, Sieyes and Ducos could easily be thrown away, and Napoleon would be the one standing there, solo, with all of the power. By sometimes misleading his fellow men, Napoleon achieved such greatness, that people from his era could only dream of. The Napoleonic Code was the first ever uniform set of laws that France ever had. In doing so, he had once again managed to reinforce his stance as a great man and leader.
