             Napoleon : Histories Most Influential Man
             One of histories most recognizable names is Napoleon. A man of individual greatness, that would eventually make history. The events in Napoleon's life, from his rise to power and fame, to his institutionalizing of the Napoleonic Code, clearly show an example of how one brilliant man can influence and change so many lives.
             When Napoleon returned from Egypt, he was already starting to be seen as a hero everywhere. Yet, he decided to wait a while before he actually attempted to take direct seizure of power. However, when Abbé Sieyes approached Napoleon with his plan for seizing power, Napoleon could not refuse. The very arrogant Napoleon saw Sieyes as a weak and undeserving man. Napoleon decided to work with Sieyes, under the strict condition that a third member be added to their alliance. Napoleon then suggested that Roger Ducos, a Girondin, who could easily be persuaded over to the winning side, be the third person. With Ducos, easily at Napoleon's disposal, he saw that he had the upper hand. Even tough Sieyes' plan was to use Napoleon, and then throw him away; he did not realize how conniving and ruthless Napoleon actually was. Ultimately, Napoleon had agreed to work with Sieyes so that when the time came, Sieyes and Ducos could easily be thrown away, and Napoleon would be the one standing there, solo, with all of the power. From the very start, it was clearly obvious that Napoleon was an example of how one person's actions can be based on individual greatness, and that this would ultimately lead Napoleon to power and fame.
