Thomas Hardy, a 19th century poet uses the concept of true love and romance to describe the realities of life, as seen in his poem ? She, to Him III?. Because of his concept of writing he can be given the title as one of England?s greatest poets. He was a man of both great dignity and character. He lives his life to the fullest and takes control of ever opportunity possible. Even though he lives a more wealthy life then others he works hard at everything he possibly could. For him as a person to experience the life where people would look up to him for advice and to have people say he was their role model really made him feel happy and also made him feel his life of hard work finally paid off. When you think about it and you break down this poem you will realize that this is an example of true love experienced by many in everyday life. His poem concludes with her saying her feelings of love are gone and she has nothing to look back upon. Which was dedicated to all the beloved who was lost throughout his life.
