Fitness
If you look in a mirror, would you see what you wanted to see ? for most people the answer is no, but yet they have thought about training to get in shape. Before people start to work out, they should know the facts and the principles of training. The principles of exercise are, the principle of overload, which means exposing the muscles, joints, and cardiovascular and respiratory systems to more work and stress that is normally experienced, the principle of progression, which means to progressively
increasing the level of exercise so that improvement in physical fitness will continue, and the principle of specificity which is doing specific exercises to improve specific components of physical fitness in the specific body parts. To achieve the principle of overload, you must use the specific components which are frequency, intensity, and time. , the principle of specificity only works if you work the right muscle, and you should work out three times a week atleast. Intensity is how hard one should exercise to improve fitness, and time is how long one exercises to improve fitness. Some facts that people should know that would help them are, that you should progress at a safe rate because your body has to become accustomed to the workload and needs to adapt, you should consider your present fitness level when starting a fitness program, you should increase the intensity of the workout gradually so you don't injure yourself, if you increase the time of the exercise, the intensity will decrease, people who are overweight should decrease the intensity and time of their workout, workouts must be increased progressively for improvement to occur, to become stronger over a period of time, an overload has to be placed on the body, overload is achieved through F. Frequency is the fact that exercises must be performed regularly if you are to reach and maintain an adequate level of physical fitness. These principles and terms allow people to workout correctly and effiencently, so next time somebody works out, these terms and principles should be a helpful way to helping them become physically fit and stay that way.
