Throughout my years of school, I have tried to excel in every way possible.
By being in the military my father had the opportunity to get an assignment to Ecuador as I stated earlier. One of these important things is the value of an education. One of these things is the opportunity to further our education. I hope I will continue to do the same if I am admitted as a freshman in such a prestigious institution as George Mason University. In my family, going to college has never been a matter of how but instead it’s a matter of where and when. Although military life exposes you to a plethora of new ideas, being raised as a bilingual child has been the biggest advantage for me. I have helped in my own community and I have maintained a very active role at my school. Through the years, I have acquired a substantial degree of moral principles and ethical values at the same time that I have learned many lessons from past experiences in my life. Not only with the geographical aspects, but also with the cultures, food, and the environment. From my experiences living in this remote part of the South American Continent, I learned to appreciate what we have in the United States.
An education is a very important part of my family.
