             In our society a huge key factor in our world is culture. Culture makes up the variety in life with the many races out there. Whether it's what everyone looks like, how everyone dresses, or even the type of foods they eat, it's what makes up a culture. Strange as it is, those very things mentioned previously are what set a lot of people apart from one another. It has been stated that since some people are afraid of introducing themselves to a new culture, they try to stay around people of the same culture. In doing so, some people tend to discriminate a culture that they really know nothing about.
             Within a culture there are three factors that help make it just what it is. These are Ideas in Culture, Norms in Culture, and Material culture. Ideas in Culture are the different ways people for see how their culture should be. For example when you see a parent correct their child because the way they are doing something that is against their religion or culture, it is a way of expressing ideas of their culture. One other example would be if you see people handing out pamphlets about a religion is their way of influencing about their religion and sharing their ideas of the type of life you should live. Norms in Culture are basically responsibilities each person carries out day by day. An example can be something as simple as household chores or getting to work everyday. Of course within each culture there are different responsibilities, because of beliefs but either way it's part of norms in a culture. Lastly is material in culture, which is all things, created by human beings, or pretty much everything we do, see, or can touch. An example could be an automobile, computer; anything that we use that is made by a human is considered material in culture.
