An Experience to Remember
Throughout my life I have met many people. Some of them have left a very good impression on me, but some others haven't. Nonetheless, could you have a very clear image of a person you have just met? This is certainly not an easy question; this is the case when first impressions may be deceptive. It all started about two years ago. I remember that horrible month of August; a sunny day when people were sweating like crazy. It was the first day of the semester back in Mexico so everybody was dressing very tacky. Guys were wearing elegant pants and colorful ties and the girls were wearing suits; I could smell the sweet fragrances of their perfumes coming out of their clothes. As I said before it was a hot day, and since they gym is always as cold as fridge I decided to hustle over there in order to cool down. Once I got there I saw three of my friends: Abner, Fernando and Josue. Abner, a thin guy, was wearing black pants and a white shirt. Jose and Fernando, both big guys, were wearing black pants and white shirts. All of them were working out like animals, feeling the blood flowing inside their muscles. For example, he has won many bodybuilding contests and he has appeared in a few movies. In fact, the following days were not even better. He was wearing baggy blue pants and a tight white shirt. He was always trying to ignore me and trying not to get in my way. His attitude towards us was totally different. The way that he talked to me that day made me think he was a grumpy guy. For all of us he was just a careless instructor and for the following two days nothing changed. It can take weeks, months or even years to know who a person really is. His face turned red and his voice was as weak as a buzzing. Because all of that now I have a different image of him; he is like a brother to me. After a few minutes we started talking about nutrition. I gently asked him who he was and he told me with a strong voice that he was the new instructor of the gym. I was really impressed of everything he was telling me about food and supplements. He started talking nicely and all of the time he was trying to help everybody.
