Camping

Camping can be lots of fun, but being prepared is extremely important. You need to make

a list of what will need to be taken on the trip. Then you need to collect your supplies.

Your equipment also needs to be checked before leaving. Another important step is

finding the perfect camping site. You must also set your campsite up correctly. When

you are ready to leave the campsite you have pack up correctly. Even though you are

ready to leave right then. You’ll be glad you did the next time. If you follow these steps

you should have a fun and safe camping trip.

When making a list for supplies you must be very careful not to over look any of

the needed supplies. First you determine how long you plan to be camping and how

many people you will need to provide for. Two of the most important supplies would be

food and water. You can not count on being able to catch what you need to eat unless

you are an extremely experienced camper. Even then it is always wise to take back up

food supplies. You may even want to take some food that does not need to be prepared.

Water is even more important than food. There may be streams and lakes were you are

going to camp, but the water may not be safe to drink or

. . .

There are many great campsites all over our country. It may seem like allot of trouble, but each step is for a

good reason. Don’t leave if you still

see the fire smoking. It is always better to have one and not use it them to not have one

and need it. Thousand of acres of Forrest have

been destroyed form camping fires not properly put out. Pull the rods out of the

tent and then pull up the tent steaks. After all this you

pack all the rest of your equipment. Taking time to locate a campsite is also very important,

because some campsites are closed during certain seasons. The

tent steaks should be in the ground pretty good so they might take some time to pull up if

you hammered them in the ground all the way. Make sure you pick any trash you might have

accidentally drop. Other areas may be to hot during the

summer time and should not be used during this time. It

depends on how rough you would like to camp. The gas cylinder for the stove should also be checked to make

sure it is full and the valves on it work properly.

Before you leave your home you need to at least have an idea of were you would

like to camp at. That reason is mainly safety, but it is also to make sure you can get the most

out of your trip.
