Drugs
Drugs are a subject that is the concern of all. Especially today, where drugs are easy to accesses and the age ranges of drug users have dropped dramatically. Drugs are abusive and addictive, they are not only chemically addictive, but they are also psychologically addictive. Today, there are many teenagers and even children who are addicted to drugs, this is not only a problem of the penalty the drugs will bring in the end ie. Death or brain damage, but it also brings the problem of forced crime in order to find the money to buy the drug. For many years hundreds of societies and associations have fought in many ways to prevent the use and sale of drugs. But unfortunately, many people who make major income in drug trafficking always find a way to keep their dirty businesses going on. The fight against drugs is still going on by many people who have lost their loved ones and by people who have became handicapped due to the use of drugs. I myself have chosen this topic for two reasons. One is that I have never liked even the name of drugs. This is because I always hear the negative outcomes that drug users experience. And second, is after I viewed a documentary on drugs on television.
You cannot control the amount you drink and symptoms like shivering, intense anxiety, hallucinations etc. Psychoactive drugs are drugs, which influence perceptions, emotions (mood), and behaviour. After it was found that PCP caused hallucinations, it was made illegal. LCD abusers often report vivid images and sounds, some even may experience mystical religious trips. Opiates are used as painkillers in medical treatment, however due to their effects on the mood and the reduction of anxiety, they are often abused as illegal drugs. CANNABIS: this is obtained from the cannabis plant. In small amounts it appears to increase peoples energy, make them fell more lively and sociable. The synthesised forms of hallucinogens include LSD (lysergic acid diethlamide) PCP (phencyclidine), LSD "acid" is a colourless, odourless often dissolved on sugar cubes or a piece of paper. OPIATES: These include opium and substances derived from it. Visual, auditory or tactile hallucinations are typically experienced whereby the person feels unable to differentiate from his/her surroundings. The addiction of drugs can be expressed in two ways; one is physical dependence, and the other is psychological dependence. Most common used amphetamines are used to increase confidence, to stay awake, and to loose weight. Then the depressant effects take over, whereby there is a declined motor activity and other cognitive functions. When the initial effect of amphetamines decline, the person goes into a period of intense fatigue, lethargies, depression and sleep.
