A Fashion designers design clothing and accessories. Some high-fashion designers are self-employed and design for individual clients. Other high-fashion designers cater to specialty stores or high-fashion department stores. These designers create original garments, as well as those that follow established fashion trends. Most fashion designers, however, work for apparel manufacturers, creating designs of men's, women's, and children's fashions for the mass market. They usually specialize in one fashion area.              A fashion designer has many tasks. The task of a fashion designer is to:

             · In some cases, assisting planning production

             · May plan clothing production methods
             · May run their own business.
             A typical day for a fashion designer is completing a lot of his or her tasks. They would go to meetings, paper work, and design graphics on the computer, but everyday is different depending on where you work. Someday you may do more than other days. You may work on getting ready to release the line or designing graphics, it just depends on where you are in the cycle of the season.
