I think America is an excellent example to understand the importance of technology for a society. Another factor in any economic system is the quality of available labor. The first need of an economic system is the natural resources. Although the United States has sometimes experienced unemployment or labor shortages, immigrants came when work was plentiful. But despite all the progress in economics, military so on, American Society is not an ideal society. Citizens can freely trade in market places. The economic system brings together the natural resources, the labor work, technology and managerial talents. Since the 1870s America is the manufacturing leader of the world and leads the world in the production of steel, automobiles and other products. Second one is the amount of available labor work. Also they have invested a lot of money for military technology. Every economic system tries to meet the human needs by the production and distribution of goods and services. How hard people are working and how skilled they are. They have a lot of social problems which they can't prevent.
