As the huge double doors swung open, everyone at the royal wedding turned abruptly to stare at the vision of beauty who had just walked through the doors. Princess Levitina, completely aware of the attention (particularly from the males in the room), tossed back her magnificent shoulder length golden sheet of hair. She strode confidently up to one of the elaborate long gilt banqueting tables and popped a crystallized apricot into her mouth. Soon, the talking began once again and the wealthy guests continued to mingle and chatter, mainly boasting of their five hundred roomed mansions, (Not including servant’s quarters), their countless limousines and the incredible manners of their many beautiful children.

. . .

Every ounce of his concentration was fixed into Levitina’s deep, welcoming blue eyes. Bharata was noticing her clear, glowing complexion, smooth pink lips and long brown lashes, which Levitina was constantly fluttering. Bharata, an Indian prince, walked nervously towards Levitina, whom he had never met before.

“Huh?” Bharata’s voice had a mild Indian accent. Her hair, her eyes, her…

“Well?” Although her voice was still saturated with sugar, she added a certain sharpness to her tone, which woke Bharata up.

“Well…” he replied, clearly with no idea what he had been asked, “I think you have a very interesting point, and allthough some would disagree, . Bharata did not, care, he was looking at the princess.

“I was just wondering what you thought on the matter?” Her voice was now so sweet, it would have made any sensible person sick, yet Bharata was foolish and innocent, and at that moment in time he would have done anything possible just to hear another word.

It was only when Bharata was gazing at her miniscule pointed feet that he noticed Levitina’s servant. Her eyes were cold, and looked more green than blue and her pale skin was pimply under a lot of orange concealer. At first glance she was similar to Levitina, yet there were many obvious differences. She wore black gloves which only came up to her wrists, and a chunky dark blue bracelet. She had matching delicate saphire earrings, bracelet and a saphire ring. Levitina also wore black elbow length lace gloves and matching pointed stilettos.
