Bio of Jimmy Connors

             Jimmy Connors was born on September 2nd, 1952. He started to play
             tennis at a very young age, under the teachings of his mother Gloria
             Thompson Connors, a teching professional. When he was a teenager he and
             his family moved to California where he recieved advanced training from
             Pancho Gonazales and Pancho Segura. He won the NCAA singles title at
             1971 as a student of UCLA. He turned tennis as a profession after
             college and at 1972 and he won his first title that year at
             He contiunued to win the following years. He won twice at the
             Wimbledon Twice at 1974 and 1982 ans the Australian at 1974. His
             specialty has been the U.S Open, he won five championships at the years
             1974, 1976,1978, 1982 and 1983. His most extraordinary year was at
             1991. His careerseemed at an end. He was troubled by his deteriorated
             left wrist ( he was a lefty), he had played and lost only three matches
             in 1990, his ranking dropped to number 986. However, a surgery restored
             his wrist, and he came back playing fourteen tournaments and finished at
             the semifinal at 14th place at the U.S Open.
             Jimmy Connors seems to be delighted by keeping his watchers surprised.
             He annoyed numerous tennis fans in the U.S with his vulger on cout behavior,
             and his refusal to play Davis Cup. he was booed at Wimbledon it is rare to see
             people do that. Although the watchers disapproval he gave them a good shot
             the following years by winning numerous games.
             Throughout Jimmy Connors career he gave many good plays as well
             as games. In total he won 109 games and in he was ranked 15th on the money
