New Tech

We can see many new technologies appeared in the market recently. In this report, I will discuss about three of them, which are the technology of DVD (Digital Video Disc), MP3 and Digital Camera.

With the size of a Compact Disc (CD), a Digital Video Disc (DVD) can contain a much larger amount of data than a CD. It also contains music and videos with the best sound and picture quality. The technology of DVD also allows the moviemakers to add more features in a disc that the Video Cassette Tape can’t do. Moreover, the quality of the movie in a DVD is pretty much like the movie we usually watch in the theater. DVD players also play standard audio CDs. Lowering prices on multi-disc models mean that it's practical to have just a DVD player for playback of multiple audio CD and video DVD discs. Others resemble large pens or even watches. Final results can be made into prints, cards, even T-shirts, or sent via e-mail, all using the software that usually comes with the camera. With a

Digital camera, you can transfer shots to your computer, then crop, adjust color and contrast, and add textures and other special effects. A standard for audio data compression determined by the Motion Picture Experts Group, which is an ISO (International Organization for Standardization) working group. Inside each player is a computer chip and memory that can store and play compressed digital audio files. Digital cameras share many features with digital camcorders, such as an electronic image sensor, LCD viewer, and zoom functions. Today, there are a lot of people listens to MP3 music through the Internet. But as digital image handling becomes simpler-and camera prices keep dropping-the advantages may more easily win you over. Thus, the MP3 standard is widely used in the computer field. ts (and any Commercial title), they may have problems reading the CD-R and CD-RW discs, which you record yourself, no matter what type of device you used to record the discs.

Of course there are a lot more of other technologies beside the three discussed above.

Compared with images captured on film, digital images allow you to be more involved in the creation of the print. Some of these players can even store other computer files as well.

MP3 is an abbreviation for MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3. Digital cameras, which employ reusable Memory cards instead of film, give you far more creative control than can film cameras.
