Study Abroad

Learning new ways of life is something I enjoy doing. I have been to Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. I love to travel all over the world to gain an experience of the countries' culture. Having family members scattered all around the world is one reason for my visits to different parts of the world. Another reason that I enjoy traveling is to meet new people. I have found that my ability to make friends is a trait that makes all my visits an enjoyable one, partly because I interact well with others and can adapt to culture fairly quickly. I want to partake in this program because it has always been a goal of mine to study abroad. By participating in this program I hope to learn another culture, make international contacts, and gain valuable international business skills. Within this program I will become more mature because I will not only absorb new knowledge but also broaden my mind in term of cultural and social issues. I will be able to experience the different styles of education and the different teaching styles. Moreover, the new environments could make for the long term goal of learning. As international business is becoming increasingly more important studying abroad will allow me to have first hand experience. Although I could learn international business at the American college I am attending at and receive a good education, it just would not be the same. I am confident that I will succeed as a student, as an American representative, and as a tourist in this program because of my many travels abroad and strong desire to succeed. In short, studying abroad, exploring this world, and gaining knowledge really entices me.
