When comparing different forms of communication, it is hard not to think of telephones as a strong base for communication. The cellular phone is one of the newest and most widely used forms of communication. With saying that, it could also be a very frustrating and cost prohibited way of interacting. When comparing the cellular phone to a pay phone, the cellular phone is better because it is mobile, it can receives incoming and makes outgoing calls, and it can receive voice messages.

Pay phones can only make outgoing calls with sometimes ridiculous charges. places in the world, but you have to be at one specific location to communicate. At any time, you can just pick up your cellular phone and start dialing digits. It is obvious that in the long run a cell phone can cause cancer due to radiation.

In Lauren Greenfield’s article, he is painting the portrait that it is very comfortable and friendly to be in a telephone booth. It has been proven that cellular phones are not healthy if it is abused. Being able to talk while driving in a car, or walking around the block is why so many people chose the cellular phone to own. It looks like a very cozy and warm place to be. If someone needs to reach you in an emergency, there is no way of contacting them unless they have a device where they can receive calls from people who are trying to call them. Cell phones are more efficient than pay phones because they are mobile, you can retrieve incoming telephone calls, and you can receive messages.

The second way a cell phone is much better than a pay phone is because you can receive incoming telephone calls.

Finally the cell phone is a much better lines of communication in comparison to a pay phone because a cell phone can receive messages.

Cellular phones are very important to society. This picture puts lots of emphasis that it is socially accepted to make phone calls. When I think of a pay phone, I think of a metal piece of junk that doesn’t function properly.
