TECHNOLOGY – Where do we draw the line??

Over the centuries, man has revolutionised, and developed, improving our intelligence, appearance and health care to better the man kind.

With the development, came the age of technology, which has become the mother of man kind’s life as we know it, and as every mother says, ‘if I can bring you into this world, I can certainly take you out of it!’ So, is technology a wish come true or a disaster waiting to happen? Where do we draw the line?

No one can be sure of when technology started, who came up with the idea, or even if anyone realised the consequences. It probably started

. . .

Now, they are palm held, communication devices, able to process, research, and help the user to ‘keep up to date’.

When the computers are faster, more efficient and able to do more tasks in a few minutes than the human brain can in a life time…. Instead of animators drawing up every scene, we have computer graphics. So who is really in control of the revolution of computers? They are no longer a huge machine simply able to print or type.

As days go by, more and more jobs are being taken over by our ‘inventions’. More inventions were being invented. off completely innocently, trying to improve the lives of people by giving them electricity, communications and healthcare. you start to wonder, where do we draw the line with technology? Or is it already too late?

. ‘The perfect model’ has also been invented, which will soon put all models out of work.

But as time went on, more and more technology was being introduced into the world. The development is so rapid, most people don’t even realise how fast the world is becoming computer dependant. Not only can computers calculate, search, process, communicate and teach our children, they can also introduce people to a life on an international scale.

Technology is more efficient than man. Instead of tills in shopping centres, we now have computer screens. No longer do you need the postal service, newspapers, school textbooks or even telephones.
