College Essay

All of these experiences and lessons have helped me to be ready for college, to be on my own, to work to achieve goals, and to be a better person. Athletics have played a major role in my life. I work every summer so I can help my parents pay for my college education. After that, my family and I moved to Georgia where we also lived for five years. I look forward to my association with Ohio University!

. I have also helped coach a little kids’ football camp that is held every summer. Working has instilled upon me responsibility, to respect my superiors, to do things that need to be done even when I am not asked to do them, and to strive for a good work ethic. I was born in Pennsylvania and lived there for five years.

I have also done many things outside of school. This past summer I worked at a restaurant called JB’s, which is a local ice cream shop. In all of these endeavors, I strive to work hard, to do my best, to be a leader, and to overcome adversity. All of these activities have taught me lessons I will never forget.
