American writers have influenced many lives of readers who love the world of American literature. They've changed lives and feelings toward what goes around in our daily lives. Every author writes in such a style that is unique in his or her own way. They gain recognition for that style because of its ingenuity and originality. The reason I decided to choose Robert Cormier for this research project was because of his style of writing that is different from any other author's work. He doesn't write in any specific approach so each book he's written is different in its own way.
             There are many questions to ask an author about their works. First and foremost, I would love to ask Robert Cormier, where in the world he get his ideas to write books like I am the Cheese and two of my all-time favorite books, The Chocolate War and its sequel, Beyond the Chocolate War. Those books are unique in their own way because they are out of the ordinary. Each book has its own surprises, characters and conflicts that keep the books suspenseful. I would love to know who were his biggest influences to write and why did he want to become an author. It would be fascinating to find out about his past, how he got into the world of literature, and which book he considers his best piece of work.
             My expectations upon completing this project are at a high level. Not only to get information about Robert Cormier, but to get a sense of feeling that not only has he influenced readers, but changed people's way of thinking. I expect to learn about the impact Robert Cormier had on American life and literature. I will take this time to read and analyze another of his work.
