Implying that he is opposed to Rosier marrying his daughter and that he considers Pansy as one of his possessions. n the beginning know only what happens in the house and do not worry about outside life. At point where we will discus her as commodity she is nineteenth years old. As we can see they all stay in a choice of marrying for money or for love. Osmond's only worry was how much money he can get for her.
