Abortion

             A suction tube with a sharp cutting edge is inserted onto the womb through the cervix. The developing fetus is then dismembered by the aspiration. The blood, amniotic fluid, placental tissues and fetal parts are all collected in a bottle. This horrendous procedure, known as suction aspiration, or "vacuum curettage", is an abortion procedure used during the first trimester of pregnancy. This procedure is killing a developed 7-14 week old fetus. The fetus is well alive. It is murder, and it is wrong!
             Issues of abortion go far beyond life vs. choice. Abortion as a whole, any way, shape or form, is murder. From the moment of conception, a living being is developing. Eighteen days after conception a heart is being formed. Its only twenty days when foundations of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous systems are laid out, and twenty-four days until the heart actually begins to beat. Abortion is murder.
             Can a fetus feel pain? Why, most certainly. A fetus as early as 7 weeks after conception can feel pain. Thus, the fetus can feel pain halfway through the first trimester, when most abortions are formed. No one has the right to put another, someone with every right to life, through one of the most painful and appalling deaths there are.
             Many pro-abortionists feel abortion after rape is okay. Wrong. When a woman is raped, she is not at fault; god does not hold her accountable. However, when she aborts the baby she is sinning. She violates Gods law stating, "You shall not kill". The woman is just as guilty of killing the child as her attacker is of raping her. The acceptance in abortion for rape pregnancies is simply put in this question, "We must approach this with great compassion. The woman has been subjected to an ugly trauma, and she needs love, support and help. But she has been the victim of one violent act. Should we now ask her to be a party to a second violent act-that of abort...
