If I setmy mind to it, I can do anything. Determination is a strong virtue of mine and as a hopefulmember of Georgia College and State University, I can bring that to your school. Byshowing leadership and a strong will to learn, I can set examples for my peers to continue
At GC&SU Iknow that everyday will be a new and challenging learning experience, and I will workhard everyday to meet and overcome the challenges. Luckily, Georgia College & State University has an excellent program in Education. I believe one of my greatest strengths is the will toaddress my weaknesses and strive to overcome them. Ibelieve that my determination, strengths and experiences have helped create the person Iam today and will play a part in making me the person I will be in the near future. Working in soup kitchens andhomeless shelters, I have cultivated the importance of obtaining a good education andworking hard. During the season, I experience victories and defeats. Another way of building character is from myexperiences through various community service projects. Over the summer, the experience I gained from teaching in VacationBible School led me to conclude that Early Childhood Education is a career that interestsme. Along with determination comes attitude and focus. As in cheerleading, strength comes from continuously working to improve uponourselves and doing a better job. College might become overwhelming and frustrating, butwith focus and a will to learn, the educational process can be an enjoyable experience. Additionally, I experienced how exceptional it feels to reach out and helpsomeone in need. I acceptconstrictive criticism as a gift and find ways to use this to my advantage. I have a verywarm-hearted and fun-loving attitude toward life and new experiences.
