It’s amazing to me that Cain not only killed his own brother, but then when God asks him where Abel is he lied to God. When a couple gets married they really do become one flesh. Perhaps He wanted to show what a deep connection man and women have to each other.
Another question I have that is very difficult to answer is why did God put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden? Why put temptation in the garden when everything is perfect? We put something there that could cause Adam and Eve to stumble? Maybe it was a test for Adam and Eve so God could see how much they trusted and loved Him. It’s a good thing there was one person that found favor with God or else we wouldn’t be here now.
I think it is pretty crazy that God actually went through with it and wiped out everyone except for Noah, his family, and all the animals except for two of each kind. It sure didn’t take very long for mankind to start doing horrible things. did God create Eve from Adam’s rib? I’m sure the answer to this question only God knows but I‘ll take a guess at it. Hopefully we can learn from them and try to be obedient and listen to God ourselves.
