Comparison and Contrast life is sweet and the Monkeys Paw

The Monkey's Paw and Life is Sweet at Kumanensu are similar in that they both deal with magic, but the Monkey's Paw deals with black magic and Life is Sweet at Kumanensu deals with spiritual majic. Both of these stories had magic in them but the magic type was very different. The Monkeys Paw had Black magic in it .The Monkey's Paw had a Paw that was said to be cursed. If you made a wish with the paw your wish would come true but there would be great repercussions. After the man wished for 200pounds his son was killed by machinery. Mr. White and Mrs. White blamed thepaw and beleived that the paw was cursed. The other w


She told them that he was just at her house. The Monkey's paw was a very good story that didn't actually tell you that there was magic in it. At the end of the storythe people were looking at a locket and they couldn't find out how to open it. The story had spiritual magic because the same baby was beleived to be beingborn over and over again. The fifth time the baby was born the mother marked him with a stick to see if it really was being reborn. When the baby was reborn it did have a mark on it. They both had a son that got killed during work. Her son grew up and rarely visited homewhen he came to visit he had a scarf wrapped around his head. ishes they made wereto make Herbert alive again and to send him back. Some of the village people came to her house to tell her that her son was dead. The majic in these stories were similar in that they both had to do with death, the death in both stories were caused by magic. The author let the reader beleive what he wanted. The little girl showed them about a secret release that opened it, this proved that her son had been at her house. The two stories were similar in some ways.
