Essay on Line poems

A senator and his family are killed by a two engine monsterTen a.m. in a storm filled sky, freezing rain falling in sheetsThe airport so close seems so far awayVeering off course, ground rushing upwardColliding with the pine tree sentinels of a desolate swampGrievance is extreme, friends and foes alikeCold church in the rain, thousands stand to pay their respectsTo honor the patriots who fought for our freedomWith the help of the French we fought the BritishEight years of fighting for one united causeAt last we move to the last strongholdWe go to beat the British at YorktownSuperior strategy decides the victorWe surrounded the 8,000 left of the BritishCornwallis surrendered after watching his men dieFear is the quiet, dark man sitting in the ba

The ones he does break become the terrorists and the killers all over the world. Fear is not tangible, nor will he ever be. As more people fight him he becomes easier to overcome, and this makes it easier for those who have trouble fighting him. Outside looking inI stand outside, the white, fluffy snow falls softly to the groundI look over at a rather peculiar window displayI see a tiny little candle, its flame burning brightlyI see a small television showing events that seem oddly familiarI watch the candle as the hot liquid wax rolls down its sideI watch as the small flame grows and shrinksThe flames actions seem to be oddly synchronized with the events on the televisionI then look over at the televisionI watch a young man going through life, growing upEvery time he is in a tough situation and he wants to give up, I watch the flame dwindleI watch as the boy pulls through it, and the flame starts to growI open the window, and for some reason I feel at home in the displayI can smell the food that the young man eatsThe aroma of scrambled eggs mixed with that of cheese and bacon tickles my noseThe determination that the young man possesses is so extraordinary I can smell itThe vision of the candle comes to my headI can hear him talking to his momHe is trying to comfort her in a time of need, just one of the painful ordeals their family facesI hear a crackle from the little candle flameThe flame has grown with the growth of a young man's determinationI reach out to touch the television, and suddenly I become part of the sceneThe feeling of the place is bittersweet in tasteThis is the taste of sadness mixed in with the love in a familySuddenly I realize that the young man is meThe display suddenly disappearsI realize that the flame symbolizes my determination to go on, not to give upI go back to reality, the peculiar window display changing me forever. He is the one thing at the back of our mind that terrifies us. He is the one who spawned the many scary what if 's we face every day. He has to be fought from the inside. He lives off the screams of the innocent, he tries to break the souls of the brave. He waits for unsuspecting victims, and leaps into their minds. And if you are determined to fight he will leave. He is the one who makes us fear our brothers. He is always around when tragedy occurs. For he is terrified of the fire that lives deep inside of each of us. This when he partners up with sadness, and they work together to hurt anything and everything they can.
