Event 2They used the Gulf of Aden to Reach the Red Sea. They then headed northwest to the pearl fisheries of Ceylon just south of India. ThemeDo not oppress people; they will seek revenge to the highest degree. ResolutionThey made plans to escape that night wherever they were in the ocean. They were already inside the dinghy and it was torn off the ship in the ocean's fury and they were knocked out. ClimaxAn unmarked warship spotted the Nautilus and was now bombarding it. Then, they entered the Mediterranean Sea by means of an underwater tunnel running beneath Suez called the Arabian Tunnel discovered by Captain Nemo. Unfortunately, that night, as they were trying to escape, the Nautilus was passing over the Maelstrom, a giant whirlpool off the northwestern coast of Norway from which no ship has survived. After escaping, they let the Gulf Stream carry them north by New York and then East out to sea. After crossing, they visited an underwater coral graveyard reserved for the crew of the Nautilus. Event 5They followed South America north to the Bahamas were they had an encounter with a school of giant squid that took the life of a crewmember. Aronnax, Consiel, and Ned Land new what madness Captain Nemo had and no longer felt safe aboard the Nautilus. Event 4The Nautilus's next stop is the South Pole.
