Joan

One must wonder: would the legend of saint Joan have magnificence that it does, had Joan not been burned when she was?

Even though the people she helped would soon betray her and sometimes things would seem hopeless Joan continued to achieve her destiny.

Joan as a country girl whose age is between seventeen and eighteen years. Is not a classical beauty, Joan of Arc has an admirable sense of purpose and determination; she is also simple, wise, and courageous. Her soldier’s clothes, her short hair, and her military tactics reveal her sense of duty.

I feel that Joan has faith in herself. A story of a female hero was chosen because she was person that wasn’t forced to do anything she was told, but by voices she supposedly heard to help Charles VII (Dauphin) to be King of France and to throw the English out of France. She was pure and lived a short life, but achieved more than most hero’s in a lifetime.

Who is Joan of Arc? Joan was said to be a female hero, who was lead by voices to throw the English out of France and bring her Dauphin, to his throne.

Joan was accountable of wars that led to the fall of the English and the upbringing of the King of France.

The creativity-expressed by Joan of Arc is not in the areas most peop

. . .
Joan was a simple peasant girl who rescued France from defeat in one of the darkest periods of the “Hundred year’s war” with England. Many revered Joan as being insane despite her heroism, and not until 1920 was she declared a holy maiden and second patron saint of France

Joan of Arc: Saint or sinner: picture this: A blue-eyed, blonde girl of five kneeling in her most pious attire before the altars of St. Much of Joan’s originality was not a result of Joan breaking out of her gender role. Born to a poor family, Joan never learned to read and write, but would later carry with her name the strength to move armies and hearts.

To most people she is better known as Joan of Arc or the Maid of France. Inspired by her, France was saved from defeat. When Joan is mentioned as an original person, most people think of her accomplishments as a woman. The English were convinced she was a witch and used sorcery to defeat them. “The voice of God on earth is the voice of the Church Militant and all the voices that come to you are the echoes of your own willfulness” (110) even after her victories against the English and her crowning of the Charles as King of France, Charles distrusts the authenticity of Joan’s voices. Firstly, he believes that Satan inspires Joan to commit her heresy rather than God or Saints; this diabolical influence threatens the well being of Joan’s soul. When Joan defeats the English at Orleans, she earns the respect of her French peers as a competent general an special or revered; she is simply a good brave solider.

FROM THE BEGINNING is the grandeur of the story of Joan of Arc found in her life or in her death?

The first step to learning the answer is by understanding the French and English opinions of Joan.

Joan has become most apparent to me is that Joan d’Arc was not a heretic or a sorceress as her accusers claimed, but a girl, barely old enough to be called a woman, who brought victory and restored pride to her country, her God.
