Freedom, Self and God

In the gray area of freedom, self and God, many people have found themselves stranded on ideas and looking for a common link that hasn't been found yet. Many philosophers have actually argued the same point, but because they lack complete definitions of words they end up without a valid thought. The questions raised about freedom, self and God have lasted centuries without answers, either from previous experience or otherwise. The first area of concern deals with the concept of freedom and what it represents. Many of us in society today, believe that we are free and can do as we choose. But if we look deeper into the question what degree of freedom have we attained and how can we measure it? I believe that we are born created in this world free but prior experience and interactions with others detains from that freedom. How can a person truly have an open mind to a dilemma if prior experience tells them what the most efficient solution is? Obviously, most decisions are made out of instinct because we have

But where does self worth and faith lie? Have we created emotions and feelings over time and just adapted to the population having them through past experience? This would inevitably mean that we are not free and our decisions are biased. We live in a society where we have to compromise with others to make a lot of our decisions. So how can we truly say that our actions are not programmed by the people who gave us ideas in our development years? In a way, they set our instincts and reactions to things without any debate. It would be inconceivable for someone to sit down and think about everyone problem that arose in great detail to decide what the best decision would be for you. Many of us want to believe in God and the idea we have journey to him when we die. They would argue that without a soul then how are personalities, feelings and uniqueness created? If a soul exists than we have a purpose for being here according to modern religion. If these weren't created by God then how did any of it come to exist? Societies through the years have created their own image of God and what he does for them. lived everyday life and encountered the same problems over and over again. So far the only circumstantial evidence we have toward his existence is the universe and supposed miracles. Another stall to freedom is the reactions with others on a daily basis. It could either be one of the suggestions above or a combination of them all. Therefore, are we acting out of freedom or are we compromising our freedom for others? The second area of debate deals with the existence of self and what makes us unique from others. Do we have a soul or are we just reacting out of previous experience? Many people believe in the existence of a soul and that it is what our true essence represents. There have been primitive religions with multiple Gods that have proven to not be valid while a religion like Christianity has still yet to be disproved.
