Body Dysmorphic Disorder

Body Dysmorphic Disorder also (historically known as dysmorphic Phobia) is an obsession through shortcomings in form. It is usually imagined or some type of physical difference is there, the person is distress is to the extreme. The prevalence of the disorder is unknown according to experts. It is very hard to diagnose the BDD in its early stages because the person is hesitant to disclose their symptoms. The Diagnosis for BDD begins when an individual has complaints or obsess excessively over slight flaws that are mostly imagined of the body also the complicated attempts to change the body parts. For example, ones face, acne, wrinkles, redness or paleness of skin complexion, or hair thinning facial symmetry or inconsistency, to too much facial hair.
