             Many times I have heard the statement "if you are a good person you will go to heaven." I myself, before I was a Christian, remember making the same statement. It seems that in today's culture more and more people hold that opinion. Religious pluralism is taking over our society. We as humans find it very hard to believe that our God would allow so many people to go to hell for the fact that they did not ask Jesus into their hearts. As Christians it is our duty to get across to them that there is only one way to God and it is a simple yet important way, thru Jesus Christ.
             As I talked with many of my unsaved friends I found that they hold the same ideas about God and the Bible. Those ideas are going to cost them gravely if they don't seek the truth. They don't believe that we were born into sin. My secular friends believe that "white lies" are ok. They also refuse to believe that God sees sin the same. For instance if my friend Jean were to steal a loaf of bread and my friend Heather killed a person, they think Heather's act is far worse and God would also view it that way. Trying to explain the idea that sin is sin in the eyes of God is not easy especially when you have friends who have held this belief for many years. The sin itself is not as bad as its consequences, that it separates us from God.
             In dealing with my friends whom I love and care for deeply I have come to realize that getting angry and choking them is not the way to go. Looking to the Bible I found that the underlying theme to witnessing is through forgiveness and understanding.
