I asked myself many times, “what really happened?“ There was only one answer; two jets hit the two beautiful towers.
As the one-year anniversary approaches, we remember the ones who were victims along with our heroes. I was confused and didn’t understand what was going on. An immense black cloud of smoke was developing above the towers, and a large amount of debris was falling from the sky.
Many lives were lost that morning. You got to know the stories of the people who did loose someone special. Suddenly it all came clear, The World Trade Center was a target for a terrorist attack. Once we thought it couldn’t get worse, the towers fell to the ground. What was once standing tall and strong was no longer there. It’s true what they say, “We only stand stronger. Luckily, I didn’t lose anyone close to me in the tragedy, but how can you not feel awful? For days, that was all you saw on the television. You learn to appreciate the things you have along with the people you love. You then put yourself in their situation, and realize that unexpected things can happen at anytime.
