Romeo and Juliet

             " Romeo, Romeo wherefore art thou, Romeo? Deny thy father, refuse thy name." Was an extremely well known quote that Juliet said during one of the most famous scenes from Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare. Romeo of the Montagues and Juliet of the Capulets both made numerous naive and impulsive choices that inevitably led to their catastrophic and ironic demise.
             One of the naive decisions Romeo made was when he attended the Capulet's feast. The Montagues and Capulets had long hated and despised each other. Their children were brought up to continue the rivalry. Romeo did not care to obey this because he was supposedly in love with Rosaline until he saw Juliet. Romeo had the audacity to invite himself to the Capulet's feast since Rosaline would be attending the feast and it would give him a chance to compare the ladies. This was a perilous plan to do because Romeo was a Montague and they do not coup with the Capulets very well.
             "O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
             It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
             As a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear-
             Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!
             So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows
             As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.
             The measure done, I'll watch her place of stand
             And, touching hers, make blessed my rude hand.
             Did my heart love till now? Forswear it sight?
             For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night." – Romeo
             In this scene, Romeo was asking a servingman who Juliet was. The servingman did not know who she was. This quote that Romeo said while at the Capulet's feast was towards how he reflected of Juliet for the first time he laid eyes on her. Romeo described how attractive he believed Juliet was and how he had never loved before, until that night at the feast. Romeo compared Juliet to a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear, which is saying her beauty was too rich f
