             Skiing and snowboarding have been fun and exciting winter activities ever since the sports were created. Nowadays the skiers and snowboarders are comparing and contrasting the quality of the resort with the prices that the company charges to utilize both their resort and their lifts. Two well-known resorts in this area are Holiday Valley and Kissing Bridge. Therefore by comparing and contrasting the perks and benefits that both resorts offer to a skier or snowboarder, the consumer can make an educated decision regarding which resort he should patronize.

The top of the resort rests at 2250 feet with the bottom of the resort sitting at 1500 feet. That means the vertical drop is 750 feet and the longest run on any trail would be eight tenths of a mile. The resort provides 270 acres that can be skied as well as 252 acres where snowmaking can be utilized by the business. A rider can have a pleasant riding experience by choosing trails that will best fit his ability level. Thirty-five percent of the trails are marked for beginners, twenty-seven percent are marked for intermediates, thirty-seven percent are marked for advanced and the last one percent are reserved for expert skiers and snowboarders.              Holiday Valley makes it clear that they wish to provide both a fun and enjoyable experience while staying at their resort. A fun and enjoyable experience includes spending the largest amount of time skiing down the slopes.
