Technology Is the Ruler of the Kingdom, Not the King

            Technology seems to be a part of everyone's lives. Technology is connected to people either directly or indirectly. Some people would argue this point. But, those people drive automobiles and automobiles can sometimes showcase what technology is capable of. Some might say that they don't drive cars; they live in a third world country. Well, these people probably know how to make fire. Fire is a form technology albeit low tech. Technology is all around us. Technology also teaches the human race about a huge assortment of subjects ranging from physics to even the human genome. Technology being apart of everyone's lives is my main bias.
             I know that technology is apart of my life. It cannot be helped because my profession deals with technology on a daily basis. I like creating software applications at home that I use at home. I also enjoy creating applications that help me perform my career tasks more efficiently. Through the companies multiple downsizings, I now perform the responsibilities of purchasing items for the company as well as its clients. I perform the purchasing, which is usually performed by one person full time while I am also performing the responsibilities of a software design engineer. Being a software design engineer I have the ability to see inefficiencies in a particular task. For one of Pinnacle's vendors, we wire transfer the monies due for orders that I place. I, physically, do not perform the actual wire transfer, our office manager does. Therefore, I have to send her an email detailing vendor confirmation numbers, our purchase order numbers, as well as each item that is on the order. This gets rather tedious and time consuming as we have roughly three to five total orders each day to wire transfer.
