1920

The U.S.A in the 1920's was seen as being very prosperous. Did all Americans share in this prosperity in the 1920's? Well the simple answer is.... no. Yes maybe the business-man did well as the industry out-put had doubled in the 1920's as America had prospered, but in amongst all this there were the less fortunate, people like farmers who could barely afford some supper for there hungry family because the tariffs were too high and they were making no money. Immigrants from places such as Greece, Italy and Europe had come to the country with no qualifications and no money, they had come to the country believing that it was the land of dreams, but it's only the land of dreams if you make it that and with no qualifications and no money how was anyone supposed to have a great life. They could not get a job and in most cases they couldn't even afford a house. As another down point the Americans were totally against immigrants as it was so they had a very hard time.Jews were another load of people who also didn't s

This was a result of the huge prosperity of business in the 1920's as a result of the huge boom caused by the European war. That's about 360 cars a working day, which is roughly about six hours. 5 toners to be used as pick up trucks and vehicles for employees to use. Another businessman had made his huge fortune by inventing something. This was the time in history that the most buildings had ever been made. Just before the boom road building had been started and by doing this it made people able to take there cars and move out the cities into the suburbs, because people were able to move to suburbs New York had become double it's size as the cities grew as a result of people moving to the suburbs and immigrants moving into the country. They ranged from nice family cars too 1. This was the time when there had been a new engineering triumph, more and more huge towering skyscrapers had been made as the country's engineering skills had improved and they had finally got enough funds to build these monsters of the sky. In 1927 the first proper passenger airlines were made and for the first time people were able to visit places that are actually out side there back garden. Overall in the boom a total of 300,000,000 pairs of stockings were sold to a population of only 100,000,000. Also suburbs outside of Chicago had grown by 700% because so many people had been able to afford one of these semi cheap vehicles and had moved to Chicago. Now as many people as there was who were living in poverty there were many who took all ht benefits form the boom in the 1920's. The planes were normal bi-planes, but has were longer and had a small hold with no windows and it was quite crampt, but it was one of the first planes ever to take passengers. hare America's prosperity because a lot of the people including the KKK (Klu Klux Klan) were against Jews and in a lot of cases Jews were killed if they were spotted in streets where members of the KKK were.
