Article 1 createes the first of the 3 branches of the government. Section 1 createes the name of the Legislature to be The Congress is a two-part body. Section 2 explains the House of Representatives. It createes a the minimum requirements, like 25yrs old limit, and says that the people themselves will elect the members for 2 yrs each. The members of the House are divided among the states according to size giving the more populous states more representatives in the House. Section 10, finally, prohibits the states from several things. Section 4 says that each state may create its own methods for electing members of the Congress, and mandates, or requires, that Congress must meet at least once per year.
