Islam VS. Christianity
Christianity and Islam are two of the respected religions, both of are choices made by individuals. So they are similar and stand differently with their beliefs, practices and even holidays. Christianity is known to man for more than 2000 years and there are many other religions, Islam is one of them that declares Christianity to be the wrong path. Islam was first introduced to man only 1400 years ago and declares itself to be the right and true path. The first and the most critical difference between these two religions is their beliefs. One of these differences is that according to Christians, God can be found in three forms, more likely known to be the Trinity, God the spirit, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. Muslims totally disagree with this theory and declare it wrong. Muslims believe that God can only be found in one state and God has no relatives what so ever. The Christian theory also coincides with the Christian belief that Jesus was God's son. On the
Both of which last up to three days; during these days Muslims perform special morning prayers in the mosques and perform sacrifices of animals like lamb, cow or even a camel. But Muslims believe that one day we will all have to stand in front of God where our good deeds and sins will be weighed on a balance. One of the other differences in these two religions is the way the people practice them. This also supports the Islamic theory that Mohammad was a prophet who sent out the purest word of Allah to His people, so Islam is the most undiluted truth ever put forward to the people. These differences tell us that even tough both of these are religions, they both hold some truth in them and that is that there is someone up there who is the creator; He has given the freedom of choice and it's our job to select the one that we think is true and best for us. If our sins are heavier than our good deeds, we will have to spend the rest of the eternity in hell. Christians also enjoy Easter, on this day Christians celebrate the day when their savior carried their sins away and made salvation. Christians, celebrate Christmas every year. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross, and he carried our sins on his shoulders, and if we just believe in this fact, we can be saved from eternal wrath. In these prayer sessions, Muslims perform prayers and these prayers add up onto their good deeds that also help in the forgiveness of their sins. Another major difference in the two beliefs is the theory of salvation. The Muslims have two main holidays on their calendar. During Christmas, Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus by remembering Him in churches and in their houses. other hand, Muslims prefer Jesus to be called one of the chosen people by God, and He was nothing other than a prophet of God, used to bring forward the truths of God to His people. During these pilgrimages Muslims visit the Holy Mosques where they perform specific prayers.
