A New Beggining for Zinder

An allotment of $250,000 will be made for running electricity from Zinder and maintain the system. ch could be prevented with improved access of pregnant woman to adequate medical facilities, before during and after delivery. Seeing as though the illiteracy rate is so low, the best form of communication for this culture is radio broadcasts.

The Waffle-Crete building system usually requires unskilled labor with only a few supervisors. The citizens now have reliable shelter, energy, food, and especially water. We are hoping that there will be a high demand of volunteers for these positions and people will be able to rotate jobs for different opportunities. Over 12,445 radios have been donated by the Freeplay Foundation. This intensive training program will last approximately two weeks. This building system is both a fast and cost effective alternative to traditional construction methods.
