The media and society depicts the views of teenagers with so many teenagers watching television their minds are easily influenced. Alcohol is ont hting that is shown widely on television and in magazines. When teenagers see alcohol they see people having a good time, forgetting their pain, engaging in sexual activities, or having control. Unitl these images are shown with a realistic view of the aftermath, teenagers wil continue to become underage drinkers. Whenever a college movie is shown there is sure to be a frat party being held at night. The first thing that is shown are halff drunk party goers lurking down barrels of kegs. He see a rapper with a bottle of expensive alcohol in one hand and a "dime piece" in the other hand. Lastly, in the media sexual activity and alcohol go hand in hand like bread and water. They drink until they can drink no more. The rapper may grope, fondle, or touch whomever he pleases without a lawsuit being filed. Whenever a women wants to get a woman, "in the mood", he may give her alcohol. Until a clearer reality of drinking alcohol and the effects it has are shown, underage drinking cannot be eliminated. On other programs there are a group of individuals or individual going through emotional pain. mind this could seem like the life they may want to embark. Some males on television see alcohol as a way to find sex. With hip hop on the rise the need to see the latest music video is in high demand. Fact and fiction can be difficult to decipfer so some teenagers decide to try alcohol for themselves. The only escape they manage to see is a Budlight Beer.
