Yankees versus Mets

             When taking both into consideration it is obvious that the New York Yankees is a superior baseball team compared to the New York Mets.
             For instance, one factor that makes the Yankees better is their managerial personal. With the likes of manager Joe Torre, bench coach Don Zimmer, and pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre, the Yankee coaches do not lack in experience on and off the field. All together, these coaches have played for more than ten teams, coached for more than ten teams, and have over 100 years of baseball experience. They are passionate about the game and are willing to devote their lives to baseball. For example, in the past four years, Joe Torre had prostate cancer, and Mel Stottlemyre had multiple myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow, yet still they came back to coach the game. The coaches' resilience and passion for baseball model the standards they have for their players. Furthermore, Yankees' principle owner, George M. Steinbrenner III, is willing to win at all cost. He is wiling to spend his own money to bring good talents, players and managers, to New York. Steinbrenner is also willing to provide the best environments, clubhouse and gyms, for his players. He does whatever is necessary to win, no matter the price. The Yankees have experienced, passionate mangers and a winning owner, which make their team superior to the Mets.
             Moreover, the Yankees are superior when considering their players. Not only do they have superstar players, but also great complementary players as well. Roger Clemens, Mariano River, Derek Jeter, and Jason Giambi are guaranteed members to the Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame. They are the top players in the league at their positions, and have broken many records. Roger Clemens's fastball, Mariano River's playoff saves record, Derek Jeter's offensive prowess, and Jason Giambi's power have surpassed many of the stars in baseba
