Narrative 2
Have you ever had one of those wonderful experiences, which you can easily look back on, and still know exactly everything that has happened during that time? Well, has that experience ever been so vivid, that you know exactly the way you felt, what thoughts you were thinking, and what you saw? During our first mass gathering of our first family reunion, I can easily and vividly look back on the experience and recount everything I did, said, thought, and saw. Since it was the first time that I would see my whole family (mainly on my fathers side) all together, I was more than excited. I remember just feeling so antsy, that I would constantly crack my knuckles. I was fidgeting with my fingers and . . .
As we all arrived in groups to Florida, I don’t think I’ve gotten so many hugs and kisses during that day. I remember all of us standing under the cold mist of the water, as it gently fell onto our bare skin, scintillating under the warmth of the sun. I’ve actually learned a lot about my family, because every family visit would be more toned down, so I never knew how they really acted like. We instantly took up the time in lines by telling embarrassing stories about the men in our family. pulling my shirt so much that my hands started to get sweaty, and when I looked at my shirt, it was a bit soaked. Coming from an active family, it wasn’t much of a surprise when the destination was Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I remember anticipating this trip so bad, that I felt like the blood that feed to my brain was getting cut off. I remember grabbing my stomach, because the pain of laughter was too much for me to handle! We never ran out of stories, and every minute was entertaining. I started to discover hidden personalities of each family member, and I’ve notice that we have so many similarities that wasn’t very obvious in the beginning. We all separated into groups and ventured off into the amazing things to do at magic castle. The whole Song family loaded the enormous van and headed off to a condo. The girls group of the family ran to the space ride which had an hour and a half line of waiting, but doesn’t mean it wasn’t boring. I’ve learned so much about family members, especially the story of my grandfather (on my dad’s side) skydiving as a dare with his friend, when he was just 42 years old. The week long trip ended so fast, because we used every minute wisely, but I can honestly say that the experience has helped me to learn so much more about my family.
